Description

WPGrock Appointment Booking is a self-hosted appointment booking plugin for WordPress designed for businesses that need a simple calendar-first booking experience without unnecessary payment or currency fields.

The plugin uses separate custom database tables for services, availability, blackout dates, customers and appointments. The booking timezone is configurable using a named timezone identifier so daylight-saving rules are handled correctly for businesses around the world.

Privacy

WPGrock Appointment Booking stores customer name, email, phone, appointment information and optional booking messages submitted through the site. This information is stored locally in the WordPress database and is used to manage appointments and send booking notifications. The plugin does not transmit customer data to external services by default. Site administrators should configure their privacy policy and data retention practices for their specific business and jurisdiction.

Installation

  1. Upload the WPGrock Appointment Booking folder to /wp-content/plugins/ or install the ZIP through Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
  2. Activate WPGrock Appointment Booking. Its custom database tables are created during activation.
  3. Go to WPGrock Appointment Booking > Services and create at least one active service.
  4. Go to WPGrock Appointment Booking > Availability and configure one or two working ranges for each day.
  5. Optionally add WPGrock Appointment Booking > Blackout Dates.
  6. Check WPGrock Appointment Booking > Settings and choose the booking timezone for the business.
  7. Add [wpgrock_booking] to a page, or use [wpgrock_booking service=”Your Service Name”] to load one service without a service selector.
  8. Configure front-end colors under WPGrock Appointment Booking > Styling.
