Configuration<\/strong><\/p>\n\nTo display a registration form in the front end, you need to:<\/p>\n\n
\n- Create an event<\/li>\n
Setup the Event Registration Widget<\/p><\/li>\n
Create an event<\/p>\n\n
\n- Go to the
Events<\/code> menu, then click on the Add New<\/code> sub-menu<\/li>\n- Create a new event with a title, max registrations limit (how many people can register) and date<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/li>\n
- Setup the Event Registration widget\n\n
\n- Go to Widgets menu <\/li>\n
- In the
Available Widgets<\/code> pane, you should see a new widget called Events Registration<\/code><\/li>\n- Drag and drop this widget to one of the widget area of your theme, on the right-hand side (sometime called sidebar)<\/li>\n
- Click on the down arrow of the widget to expand it<\/li>\n
- Set the title that will appear on the front-end<\/li>\n
- select the event you want from the drop-down list<\/li>\n
- Click on Save<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n
Congrats, you have just setup your first event !\nYou just need to refresh the page where the widget area or sidebar is active, and you should see the event registration form.<\/p>\n\n
Optionally, you can also configure the emails sent to users upon registration for the event or for the waiting list.\nFor this, go to the Events menu, then Settings sub-menu, and you will find the relevant settings.<\/p>\n\n\n
\n- How to change the max registration limit?<\/dt>\n
\n- Go to the event menu<\/li>\n
- Click on the event you want to modify<\/li>\n
- Update the max registration field with the new limit<\/li>\n
- Click on the Update button <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n
That's it ! The new max registration limit has been saved.<\/p><\/dd>\n
- How to cancel a registration ?<\/dt>\n
\n- Go to the event menu<\/li>\n
- Click on the event you want to modify<\/li>\n
- In the Registrations table, check the registrations to delete in the Delete column<\/li>\n
- Click on the Update button <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n
That's it ! The registration(s) you checked has(have) been deleted and the waiting list has been re-calculated<\/p><\/dd>\n
- How to change the event date?<\/dt>\n
\n- Go to the event menu<\/li>\n
- Click on the event you want to modify<\/li>\n
- Update the date field with the new date<\/li>\n
- Click on the Update button<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/dd>\n
- How to change the title that appear above the RSVP form?<\/dt>\n
\n- Go to the widget menu<\/li>\n
- On the right-hand side, you should see a Widget Area or a Sidebar pane<\/li>\n
- Find the ERSVP widget, and click on the down arrow to expand it<\/li>\n
- Change the title field<\/li>\n
- Click on Save <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n
That's it ! The new title has been saved<\/p><\/dd>\n
- How to change the emails sent to users after successful registration?<\/dt>\n
\n- Go to the Event menu<\/li>\n
- Go to the Settings menu<\/li>\n
- Find the ERSVP widget, and click on the down arrow to expand it<\/li>\n
- Change the title field<\/li>\n
- Change the subject and message fields for emails sent after a successful registration\nfor the event (registration Succesful section) and for the waiting list (Waiting List section)<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/dd>\n
- How to change the form elements (Name, phone number, etc...)?<\/dt>\n
This feature has not been implemented yet, but it will be in a future release<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n
