External Services
This plugin connects to a third-party API to provide geolocation functionalities:
OpenStreetMap (Nominatim API)
* Purpose: Used only in the WordPress admin backend. When an administrator types a physical address and clicks “Find Coordinates”, the plugin uses this service to automatically convert the address into Latitude and Longitude to place the map pin.
* Data Sent: Only the text string of the typed address is sent to the API upon explicit button click. No visitor data or personal identifiable information is transmitted.
* Service Provider: OpenStreetMap Foundation.

Installation
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/viro-filter-map-store-locatordirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
- Go to the new “Locations” menu in your WordPress admin panel and add your store locations.
- (Optional) Create Categories to group your locations.
- Go to “Locations -> Settings” to configure your default map coordinates and colors.
- Insert the shortcode
[virofpl_locator]into any page or post to display your map.
