## Description

GDPR Compliant Google Maps is a simple and responsive plugin for embedding Google
Maps on your WordPress site in a way that ensures compliance with GDPR (General 
Data Protection Regulation). This plugin requires user consent each time they visit
the page, ensuring that personal data shared with Google (such as location information)
is handled appropriately.

### Usage

Once the plugin is activated, use the `[gdpr_google_maps]` shortcode in any post
or page to display a Google Map. By default, a sample map will be shown, but you
can specify your own map URL using the `src` attribute, like this:

## Installation

 1. Upload the `gdpr-compliant-google-maps` folder to your `/wp-content/plugins/` directory.
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
 3. Use the `[gdpr_google_maps]` shortcode to display a Google Map on your pages or
    posts.
 4. The plugin will display a consent message asking users to accept the Google Maps
    privacy policy before loading the map.
